Will Jackways – Interpretation Teaser

Will Jackaways is one hell of a shredder. We said as much a couple of months ago in our “Top 5 Antipodean Riders” post and his J-Pow edit back in March was one of the better powder edits from the season just gone.

He’s had a busy winter not only filming his Monster part above but also taking part in Antti Autti’s new film Approach & Attack. But rather than ease of and relax during the Southern hemisphere of his homeland NZ, he’s been spending it shredding hard and stacking footage for his own project with Two Bearded Men: Interpretation.

Most NZ pow runs end in some sort of scrub or dirty snow, but the top half is normally always top class.

Riding in New Zealand is an interesting experience – the snow rarely falls all the way down to the valley floor so most backcountry pow runs end in some sort of scrub or dirty snow, but the top half is normally always top class. Or at least equivalent on the fun scale, where face shots equal points.

We’re stoked to see the finished product – a documentary dropping online in November – but more so if it skips over the standard “you only have one life, make the most of it” dirge heard here. Will Jackaways is a rad rider, we’ll just have to hope he can up his narration game a bit more.

For the last time: it’s 2014 and we’ve had enough of boring voiceovers in snowboard movies. More shred, less chatt. Let’s hope that this one turns it around.
