It’s rare that we’ll see urban parts from British riders, so it’s all the more impressive that the Will Smith managed to film two full sections in a season… for the second winter running
He’s the little guy with the big pop, forged on the dryslope kicker of Halifax and the indoor rails of Tamworth, and one of the UK’s strongest jibbers. Other than in the Grindhouse movies, it’s rare that we’ll see urban parts from British riders, so it’s all the more impressive that the Fresh Prince managed to film two full sections in a season, for the second winter running!
Not only that, but this one for Postland Theory‘s Connect The Dots only took him nine days to film, a good mix of tech rail hammers, styled out gaps and gnarly redirects on some crusty Euro stone.
After spending some time with him over the summer at Mt Hood, WL can attest to just how motivated and hard working he is when it comes to snowboarding, putting himself through anything to get the shot whilst drumming up the stoke for whoever is around him. Unfortunately he’s out for a few weeks right now with a busted shoulder, so as we post this we’re sending him healing vibes from WL HQ, stoked to see what he can come up with for next year!
