Rider Parts

X Games Real Snow is live!

This years 6 video parts have gone live online

X Games Real Snow is one of the hottest comps in the industry, it showcases riders hitting some of the gnarliest spots the streets have to offer. Each of the 6 riders has just a minute and a half to show the world that they’ve got the sauce to go toe to toe with the best riders in the world. 2019 has been an iconic year for the contest, with Maria Thomsen becoming the first ever woman to take part, and christ on a bike what a banger she’s produced. We’ve also got Will Smith reppin’ the UK for the first time. He was out in Finland filming and has absolutely come up with the goods.

Maria Thomsen

Maria Thomsen splits her time between being a full-time mum and a full-time badass. Her ender in last years ‘The Uninvited’ was all time, and she’s certainly come out all guns blazing for this too. She’s not just ‘good for a girl’ she’s a dope rider, no ifs or buts or maybes. Thomsen sticks a couple of meaty bails in there to prove that she is still human, and it just shows how much of a committed and dedicated rider she is.

Will Smith

Will Smith is such an ace technical rider it’s hard to compare him to anyone, he’s been putting out insane street footage for a decade now, and finally has his break into the Real Snow world. He’s worked so hard and absolutely earned his spot – and he hasn’t taken it lightly, his clip from Finland stays true to who he is as a rider and puts on blast his mega rail skills.

Craig McMorris

Craig pulls a beaut of a clip out of the bag, and his endless creativity is making itself known of the world stage. Every time we watch one of Craigs parts we’re reminded that snowboarding is meant to be fun, and he sure as hell epitomises that.

Frank Bourgeois

From seasoned vet Frank Bourgeois, we’re seeing the iconic style that he’s become known for – his big ballsy riding, dropping off the biggest spots he can find and going after every shot with gusto. It is hard to watch his part without your jaw slackening and your mouth hanging open, it’s fly catching season when watching Frank.

Anto Chamberland

Anto brings his trademark wizardry to the table in this clip and hasn’t taken his foot off the gas even slightly. Seriously though, what are they putting in the water in Canada? 2016 he got bronze, 2017 he got silver, is he due his gold?

Spencer Schubert

Spencer Schubert was a late entry into the comp, and filmed his entire part in the Rail Gardens with his buds, despite this he’s come out with the good no doubt. Hand drags and handrails are the flavour of the week for Spenny and his clip is stacked with tasty tech riding. 3 words: The. Tennis. Net.
