Since his 2012 ender in Think Thank‘s Mind The Video Man, we’ve been huge fans of Curtis Woodman. With his arms-akimbo steeze and constant face shot manufacturing he doesn’t look as controlled as more pedigreed backcountry riders, but instead every turn looks like it’s been made for maximum individual enjoyment and nothing else. Kind of like if a labradoodle could snowboard – pure joy!
With riding this fun to watch you can even get past the tabla music because throughout there’s always the sense that everything you’re seeing is as authentic as it gets. The Tahoe backcountry gets threaded and laced over four minutes and twenty seconds (of course), all captured by the Warp Wave lenses for Aurora Boardealis, the full version of which you can catch through the last link.
