It’s spring time boys and we all know what that means – sun, slush and beers! Slushy park laps after some cold beers is what every snowboarder longs for, and suddenly you find yourself giving that front flip a go. Whether it is the beer or the knowledge of sweet slushy soft snow, we don’t know, but whatever it is about spring that makes us get radical, we abso-efin-lutely love it!
We were lucky enough to enjoy some of these sweet spring vibes up at Nordkette last weekend, where the Sane Spring Break came to its end after three weeks of inSane fun. For the last few springs the Sane! crew has been taking over the Nordkette Skylinepark and shaped it into some of the most creative setups we’ve ever come across. This year’s set up was no less special compared to previous years, and some more beginner friendly obstacles had been thrown into the mix too. A lot of happy sun-kissed faces where to be seen, whether they stomped or didn’t stomp their tricks over the infamous volcano.

What pleased us a lot was that the boys hosted a Junior Jam this year to keep on pushing the young guns. The winner of the Junior Jam was offered a one year contract on the Deeluxe, Capita and Union team – A rad opportunity for any little ripper out there! Big up for the Sane! crew for this, we hope to see more of this kind of support in the future.
