Freeze Festival is returning once again this winter, but with a bit of a twist. Having lost the iconic Battersea Power Station site to the Malaysian property consortium who are turning into luxury flats (yawn!) they’ve moved the event to Clapham Common, and the focus has shifted slightly too.
There will still be big name DJs (including French electro prodigy Madeon, Radio 1’s Toddla T and DJ Fresh) but they’re not having a big air this year, instead focussing more on creating an apres party atmosphere.
That said, there will be a rail jam, with various international riders confirmed to attend including Marc Swoboda, Lude Lejkner and our very own Jamie Nicholls. So all in all it looks like it’s going to be a pretty damn good show – just so long as they keep those onesie wearing skiers from the video.
