Whilst on a recent trip to Mt Hood, we were lucky enough to catch up with the dude that is Dan Brisse. You’d expect a guy who makes his living from jumping over buildings and crushing civic property to be as intense as Superman, but in fact he’s much more of a Clark Kent figure. Just a regular nice guy from Minnesota.

We sat down and hit him with some questions about his season just gone, the upcoming CAPiTA movie and his plans for the future.

He had some interesting stuff to say about the latest video offering from Volcom – True To This – on how seeing street skating and urban snowboarding side by side changed the way he now views rail riding.

After chatting to him we’re more stoked than ever to see the new Defenders of Awesome film in September, especially Dan’s part – you just know he’s about to send it once again.
