Over the last month, Scottish ripper Stu Innes has been making the most of the quiet slopes and the dope park set ups in Austria. Anyone who’s visited Mayrhofen’s Penken Park on a regular January day can attest to the endless reams of ski school kids snaking their way between the ropes, stopping in the landings and generally making a nuisance of themselves. At least lockdown has been good for something, eh?
“Huge ups to both park crews for the sickest setups”
“January has been a crazy and amazing month for us in Austria. Despite still being in a so called “hard lockdown” the government decided to allow ski resorts to open. So here is a quick edit to showcase what I got up to at Penken Park, Maryhofen and Absolut Park, Flachauwinkl. Huge ups to both park crews for the sickest setups.”
Stu may bear a small resemblance to Shaun White circa 2012, but we can promise there ain’t a boot grab in sight here. Enjoy!
If you want to check out some more of Stu’s stuff, he’s been killing it lately at Double Triple Snowfest and Absolut Park’s Jib King, or if you fancy learning a thing or two his lockdown tutorials are online to help you dial in some new skills.
