Kicking 2022 off with a bang we’ve got the latest 2-year drop from a couple of our favourite Innsbruck-based riders. Flo Corzelius and Simon Pircher spent last few seasons grinding away with Sebi Madlener behind the lens, throwing hammers in the streets and the backcountry to bring us ‘Discard’. The boys began the project with big ideas to explore less frequented spots around the globe, but you know what they say about best laid plans… After a foray into Lebanon, they were waylaid by ‘Rona and forced to re-evaluate and reboot.

Like many of us, Covid bent the crews plans over the barrel and hammered them straight up the shit pipe, but instead of throwing in the towel, inspiration struck closer to home. The result? A fresh take on spots that have been overlooked or unattainable in a regular season, the boys began making the most of their own backyard.

“We discarded any wishful thinking and took advantage of the opportunities that suddenly opened up in our immediate surroundings. Spots, that were an absolute no-go before, were suddenly an option. People were too busy to be bothered with adults playing around with their boards. The snow was all-time. So Discard is exactly that – not, what we had initially imagined, but in the end better than we could have ever dreamed.”
