Mark and Craig McMorris hit everything from street to gnarly backcountry
At just about every major slopestyle and big air event in the last few years, Mark McMorris has been the man to beat. Since 2011 he’s racked up no fewer than ten X Games medals – five gold, five silver – and, of course, Olympic bronze.
Many thought that had McLovin not cracked a rib at the X Games just a few weeks before Sochi, he’d have been the likely winner – and the fact that he made it into the medals while nowhere near 100% fit speaks volumes about his determination.
Contests remain his main focus, but he’s also found the time to shoot an MTV reality TV show with his brother Craig, as well as travel the world with his pro surfer girlfriend Coco Ho.
As of April 2015, he’s by far the most followed snowboarder on Instagram.
