Those of you who buy the magazine regularly will have seen ‘Lives of the Artists’ – a DVD we gave a way on the cover from energy pushers Relentless. It featured some pretty mental big mountain footage from Frenchman Xavier De La Rue as well as surf and music sections, all shot in glorious high def.

Well, the makers are coming back strong with another film next season in the shape of ‘Lives of the Artists II’. This time the movie will blend snowboarding and music using some hi tech HD cameras and an epic score. Music wise the movie will be following James Lavelle, globally respected producer, DJ, recording artist and entrepreneur on a world tour with his band UNKLE. More importantly, the snowboarding looks to be stepping up yet another gear, with big mountain Jeremy Jones joining Xavier on a mission to explore snowboarding’s last frontier: Antarctica. Expect stunning landscapes and even more stunning descents. The rumour on the grapevine is the guys scored some epic first descents, and we can’t wait to see some of their lines in the film.
