It may not be the freshest news (we reported Billy Morgan‘s move to Quiksilver over a week ago, when Westbeach wished him a fond farewell), but it’s always good to hear from the new sponsors. Quiksilver’s UK team manager James Stentiford tells us what this signing means to him.
“I’m stoked to have Billy on the team and look forward to riding and working with one of the most promising young riders in the UK, especially with slopestyle confirmed for the 2014 Winter Olympics”, says Stenti. Interesting that he mentions Sochi – could Billy be a contender for the Games?
James has also signed young Scots Jamie Trinder and Fin Bremner, and reckons this new line-up has the potential for “some epic team trips!”. You’re probably right Stenti but, for the love of God, don’t let Billy climb on the other boys’ shoulders – it’ll only end in tears!
