Quiksilver, never ones to shy away from the cutting edge of fashion, have taken the trend for bright colours to the next level with their latest range of neon jackets.
The Neon Adikt collection (anyone wanna hazard a guess at why they called it that?) will be going on sale at the brand’s Regent Street store in the next few days. Apparently the shop is one of only a handful in Europe to have been given the new jackets, which were originally designed the Japanese market. They’re only going to be released as a super-limited edition range – in fact, there are less than 300 of these bright-coloured beasts in the whole of Europe.
As anyone who’s ever had the privilege of shredding Japan will know, the on-slope steeze out there is next level shit. Japanese kids rock all kinds of crazy fashions years before the rest of the world catches on. But though these jackets clearly have one eye firmly fixed on fashion, Quik have also got all their technical bases covered here – the jackets are stuffed with goose down, making them as warm and snuggly as duvets.
With all that going for them, it’s a fairly sure-fire bet that these jackets will fly off the shelves faster than Quik can stack them, so if you want to get your hands on one, you’d probably best be erm… quick (my god, that was a terrible pun, sorry).
