Commonweath Games-inspired park for Glasgow’s snowdome

The 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow drew to a close at the weekend, and seems to have been a success – regardless of what a certain Jamaican sprinter may or may not have said.

They definitely missed a trick not having any snowsports in the event list, though. It could have been rad having Torah Bright, Ben Kilner, Spencer O’Brien, Jamie Nicholls, Aimee Fuller and Brolin Mawejje doing laps at Braehead – and certainly no more surreal than the opening ceremony:

While they may not have been invited to the party, this coming Friday the guys down at the dome are going to have a bash at Commonweathness anyway. They’ve got form in this area, having already built a successful Sochi-themed park earlier in the year, and their plans are looking interesting:

18.45 – Jam Session
