We’ve all owned or ridden a board at some point where it’s been almost right but just a little off… Maybe it was slightly too stiff or you couldn’t get the stance exactly right – the little can things can sometimes throw you off your game whilst you’re trying to shred.

It’s always been a dream of any rider to own a personalised board, one custom made just for you, one you could pretend was your first pro model. But unless you’re actually a pro or even just lucky enough to work for Burton, Lib Tech or Signal it’s always been an unlikely dream.

But now enter Offshore Snow Shapes, an Australian company aiming to get everyone shredding on their own custom rides. Their simple idea is that they provide a range of shapes – currently four – and you then choose the length, flex, profile, setback and paint job that suits you best.

It’s an attractive proposition to say the least. In their own words:
