The Olympic Village must be a pretty serious place right? Training, ice baths, Tinder-ing and pasta salads four times a day… They are athletes after all, they even have their own newspaper for Pete’s sake.
Not so for the Team GB snowboarders; you can take the seasonaire out of the snowboard town, but you can never take the town out of the seasonaire. After the initial jelly eating contests hit the web it was always clear that the team was never going to take the Olympics quite as seriously as the Telegraph might have wanted them to.

How about that? We think that this is perfect evidence that snowboarding can hold its head high on a world stage without losing that edge that makes it so much more than the other sports on offer; you don’t see the lugers doing this…
