Danny Davis is no stranger to messing with the traditional halfpipe format – back in 2012 he unleashed the Peace Pipe on the world – so it’s hardly surprising to see him involved in The Arctic Challenge. In this vid, he and the likes of Iouri Podladtchikov and Markus Keller get practicing for the contest, even as the pipe is being constantly tweaked and refined.
We now know what they were building at the top of the pipe in the last edit: a mini kicker, which should make dropping in pretty interesting. A few other features are already in place too, so the riders have their work cut out for them if they’re to find the right line. Everyone sounds stoked, though – one more day to go!
