YES. Greats Uninc Snowboard 2022-2023
Whitelines Choice Winner: Best Men’s Freestyle Snowboard
PRICE: £540 / €600 / $600
YES. classify The Greats as a freestyle snowboard. If the opinions of our team of testers are anything to go by, it does that with apolomb. What’s more, the clever shaping and sidecut theory here elevate The Greats to a level of carving and on piste performance that most park boards can only dream of. Using biomechanical theory to enhance the way your body works in unison with a snowboard, YES. have created a revolutionary deck that’ll ride park as well as it digs trenches.
Who Is The YES. Greats Uninc For?
You’ve been around the block a few times and and you’re looking for something a little different. Although YES. put the Greats firmly in their freestyle category, we’d definitely call it more of an advanced all-mountain option, aimed squarely at chargers who refuse to compromise on performance, wherever they decide to go.

YES. Basic Women’s Snowboard 2022-2023
PRICE: £380 / €430 / $430
Ask and ye shall receive. The crew at YES. are coming in hot for 22/23 with what quickly became one of our test teams favourite snowboards. This is the YES. Women’s Basic. The snowboard we know and love, with a bit of female specific flair.
Everything about this new women’s Basic is instant classic. The tried and tested outline, the versatile camrock profile, even the understated graphic is a winner. Aside from the sizing, they’ve tricked out the women’s Basic with a narrower waist width, softer flex and slightly mellower profile to make it a budget friendly resort board that can seriously go toe to toe with the big dogs.
Who Is The YES. Basic Women’s For?
It’s hard to really put your finger on who this board is aimed at, regardless of if it’s your first wobbly day strapping in or you’re a seasoned vet with 20 years of experience under your belt, there’s something to enjoy here. Snowboarding is meant to be fun and enjoyable, and the Women’s Basic really allows for that, with no fuss and no frills.

YES. Warca Snowboard 2022-2023
PRICE: £540 / €600 / $600
Ripping off the rip offs. A decade ago, YES. launched the now iconic 420. A weird and wonderful shape that totally subverted the paradigm of powder snowboards. Sure it wasn’t the first to do it, but it certainly brought the stubby shape to the forefront once again.
Understandably, the 420 spawned a wave of imitators, and now YES. are turning the tables with the Warca. A portmanteau of two of their biggest rivals within the sphere, and a real competitor for one of our favourite boards of the season, the YES. Warca is primed for ripping powder, charging groomers and bringing freestyle flair into the backcountry.
Who Is The YES. Warca For?
You’re an advanced rider looking for a board that you can rip around the whole mountain, but your heart really lies with surfy turns and wide open powder bowls. If you’re used to a bigger deck – don’t be afraid to size down here!! The shape more than makes up for it and in turn offers you a more nimble and agile ride than you might be used to.

YES. 420 Snowboard 2022-2023
PRICE: £480 / €550 / $550
Credit where credit is due, YES. kickstarted the volume shift renaissance with the 420 over ten years ago and very quickly spawned a wave of imitators, but there’s nothing quite like the OG. The 420 is a short fatty that’s built for floating in the fresh, surfing in open bowls and zipping through tree runs.
Surface area is the name of the game here. Despite its elfin stature, the 420 packs in a helluva lotta board into a small package. You wanna size down here for sure, (8-10cm is standard) because what you lose in length you more than make up for in width. The result is a super nimble powder deck that’ll float with the best of them. It’s admittedly more of a quiver board, as the conditions need to be ripe to fully make the most of the 420. However, thanks to its bodacious waist width, classic sidecut and camber midbody, it’ll still make a pretty nifty companion on the hardpack. Suit up cos it’s snorkel season baby!!

YES. 20/20 Snowboard 2022-2023
PRICE: £680 / €770 / $770
If the 420 is iconic, then the 20/20 is revolutionary. A wild concept that was brought to life to answer the question ‘can we make a true twin powder snowboard?’. Spoiler alert, the answer is YES. (pun intended).
We’d liken the 20/20 to less of a ‘floater’ in deep snow, and more of a ‘hoverer’. That’s thanks to the semi-translucent pockets in the nose and tail, these convex sections allow snow and air to funnel under the tips for truly next level powder performance. We know the pros can land switch on a super directional cannon off a massive powder booter, but most of us? Not so much, and that’s where the true twin outline of the 20/20 comes in handy. This opens up a Pandora’s Box of backcountry freestyle. You’ll be popping lofty 3’s off of windlips in no time.

YES. Basic UnInc RDM Snowboard 2022-2023
PRICE: £520 / €580 / $580
We love the OG Basic, but this? This is next level. The Basic Uninc RDM takes the original concept and turns the dials up to 10 (there’s nothing basic to be found here). Romain has supercharged one of snowboarding’s favourites and in our book, it’s a winner.
A simple thing done well is often best, and that’s what YES. did here. They took tried and tested formulas and mixed them with some clever shaping technology and came up trumps. Powerful full camber profile, versatile twin outline and premium construction ensure that the Basic Uninc RDM can ride anything and everything you set your sights on. For days when it starts puking and you want to up your powder game, YES. have added in an additional set of inserts to shift your weight over the tail for surfy good times.
