They were the first specialised boot brand in the history of snowboarding, and now they’re gearing up to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Time really does fly when you’re having fun, eh? Italian brand Northwave have seen it all- they witnessed first-hand (and probably took part in) the dodgy fluorescent clothing in the 90’s, they’ve seen hard boots come and go, they’ve seen super baggy pants cycle in and out of fashion in the early 00’s and now they’re ready to party on the most special of birthdays- dirty thirty.
In true Northwave fashion, they’re inviting us all to join the festivities by dropping Northwave 30, a three-part web series that pits three generations of current and former team members against each other in a hilarious battle to determine which generation is truly superior.
They’re riding in the streets, in the backcountry, in the ‘icy, snowy, slushy shitpiles’, and everything in between. Catch the guys up to no good when the first of the three-part web series drops next Wednesday 24th November. Happy Birthday Northwave!
