Baseplate

The District bindings feature Salomons Shadowfit baseplate that’s perfectly built for tweaks and presses. This is a soft and flexible heel cup that will move from side to side with your boot so that you can really shift your weight over the nose and tail for presses and turn the tweak factor up to 11 on your grabs.

But despite this amazing lateral flex, the baseplate itself is still a responsive, medium flex and there are Kevlar stringers that anchor that flexible heel cup into place. This means that you don’t lose any response moving from edge-edge. There’s even an adjustable toe ramp so that you can dial in the perfect fit for maximum response on your toe edge and minimise any overhang.

A canted footbed provides a more natural stance that your knees will thank you for at the end of the season and has the added bonus of allowing you to put increased pressure onto the outside of the bindings for easier pressability.

There’s also SCS+ Full EVA padding that’s perfect for anyone who tends to put a little too much sauce on their tricks. If you find yourself coming in a little hot then this padding will provide the cushioning you need to take the sting out of a slappy landing.
