With women’s snowboarding on the up and up, Lib Tech have answered the call for a high end female specific freestyle weapon. Brand spanking new for 2020/21 the Lib Tech Ryme is a park board that excels both inside and outside of its natural habitat. Make no mistake, this is a pure park destroyer, wrapped in a pretty package.
Freestyle snowboards often take a beating, slamming metal, heavy landings and urban missions can leave your deck in less than ideal condition. The crew at Lib Tech have beefed up the Ryme with tough birch sidewalls, a low maintenance base and impact deflection in the tip and tail, so you can rip harder, for longer.
“It ensures the Ryme stays dynamic without becoming cumbersome, giving you the boost you need when popping onto rails, over fences and around unsuspecting jerrys”
The Aspen and Paulownia wood core mixes long term durability with weight reduction. It ensures the Ryme stays dynamic without becoming cumbersome, giving you the boost you need when popping onto rails, over fences and around unsuspecting jerrys. Blunted tip and tail reduce the swing weight and balance the board while it’s airborne, making it easier to lock down those 3’s and 5’s.

“A little triax glass helps to bolster torsional rigidity to speed up edge to edge transitions and supeing up the board’s overall responsiveness”
Despite its penchant for performing in the park, the Ryme can more than hold its own outside the ropes. Lib Tech’s C3 Camber Profile allows for aggressive and powerful riding when you’re sticking to the pistes. A mellow rocker between the feet gives way to positive camber running down to the contact points, bigging up the boards stability at speed and its ability to bounce through turns. A little triax glass helps to bolster torsional rigidity to speed up edge to edge transitions and supeing up the board’s overall responsiveness.
As the great poets Run-D.M.C once said “It’s tricky to rock a rhyme”- and as such, a rider looking for a board to hold their hand as they build their confidence would be better off looking towards the Lib Tech Glider. However, if you’re a confident snowboarder, looking for a deck to have your back as you razz through the park, rip up groomers and boost off anything and everything then the Ryme is one to keep your eyes on.
