Snowboarding is meant to be fun, and spending all day sat on your bum and then hobbling over to the car covered in fresh bruises isn’t exactly anyone’s idea of fun, right? Cue the Lib Tech Glider- designed with gentle progression and growth in mind.

The Lib Tech Glider is the snowboarding equivalent of stabilisers on your push bike- it’ll make it heaps easier for you to get to grips with riding without punishing you for every little mistake. The Glider is easy going and playful, with the softer flex giving you leeway to butter and jib around, dialing in new skills and tricks without taking a hit every time you don’t land 100% on form. The versatile twin shape gives you the option to dipping your toes into riding or landing switch without feeling off balanced or out of control.

Lib Tech’s signature banana tech profile provides one of the most mellow ways to ride a snowboard, rocker between the feet with a super subtle camber out towards the contact points. The rocker acts as a central pivot point for the snowboard, allowing for really easy shifting of weight and a really gentle turn initiation. The mild cambers offer more stability towards the nose and tail and paired with the Magnetraction to increase edge hold along the whole snowboard.

Lib Tech hang their green hat on all their snowboards, they’re manufactured at the Mervin Factory near the Canadian border. The Glider also sports an eco-sublimated TNT base, which is low maintenance and high resilience so you can spend less time faffing with an iron and more time brushing up on your technique.

Although the Glider is the ideal partner in crime for a newer or less confident rider, if you’re an experienced rider who favours softer boards then it would also be an great choice for an easy going all-mountain cruiser.
