As the board is weighted the contact points are lifted off the snow, making it nigh on impossible to catch their edge unintentionally. This confidence boosting profile is matched with the positive camber bend giving them a helping hand and a bit of extra spring power as they start trying their first ollies and carves.
The flat middle section gives them max stability as they progress from the bunny hill and the pre angled side bases engage right at the start of their turning arc so they lock in and learn to turn properly from day one.

The Super Slick X base, lightweight wood core and laminates are the same ones used on some of their fleet of adult boards, so even though the Mini Shred won’t break the bank, it won’t break after one use either. It’s a soft and playful introduction to the world of snowboarding, and while it might be bright and colourful, make no mistake this is still a proper snowboard.
