An asymmetrical assassin, the Tracer is a snowboard that holds the crown within Nidecker’s collection of carving crusaders. The Tracer is a machine, ideal for practicing the fine art of the turn and mastering it. It is the perfect toy for the boys who like to ollie high and carve low.
If you’re familiar with the Slice ‘n’ Dice series (number four and five particular), you’ll have seen the Nidecker Tracer laying down some glorious knife sharp turns already. If you’re not familiar with them, do yourself a favour and have a peak at what this camber profiled carving king can accomplish.

The Tracer is a carving board through and through. The asymmetrical shape has a tighter and shorter sidecut radius on the heel side of the board, and a stance specifically designed for carving. This makes it easier to hold an edge, and make quick turns. You’ll need to embrace the qualities this board has got to offer because riding switch on this thing won’t be anywhere near as fun or pleasant.
Despite its ideal shape for laying deep tracks, this board can by no means be labelled as a one trick pony. Its soft flex allows you to have fun on the slopes, and boosting side hits will be satisfying as hell. Add the light and strong Kevlar constructed core, and you’ve got yourself a board that can take pretty much anything thrown its way. In addition to its technical brilliance, it’s pink and looks like it belongs in art galleries.
If you crave the carve, the Nidecker Tracer is a great companion for you. The Tracer is crafted to master the art of the turn, but will definitely deliver to a very high standard within other aspects of snowboarding too.
