Nidecker has made quite a name for themselves within the carving game. These Swiss wizards know what they’re doing, and the Gun is no exception. Despite this stick being a massive powder chaser, it performs very well when it comes to laying down those lush low turns. The long side cut radius and long running edges make this board a stable companion, one that will take you safely through your turns.
As with any hard charging board, the Gun has a sintered base that’ll ensure you fly down the hill faster than a bullet. The core is made out of lightweight paulownia wood and poppy poplar, with hardwood on the side. With the hardwood beech stringers running along the edges, this a durable stick that can take a beating.
If you feel like you need a snowboard that can challenge your riding, the Nidecker Gun will do the job well. This surf-like gun isn’t for the mellow cruiser though, so if you’re looking for a versatile all-mountain board we suggest you steer your course towards something less aggressive.
