The Bataleon Feelbetter is a soft flexing board with a directional twin outline for increased all mountain control. The inserts are set back 1cm, which adds a little bit of extra volume in the nose, and keeps your weight set back over the board slightly to reduce fatigue whilst snowboarding in one direction.
The shape is still twin though, so you’re able to ride both ways with relative ease. It’s great for learning to ride switch on, as you’re constantly able to change your direction without feeling like you’re super off balance.

The softer flex allows you to dominate the board more, so when you’re still learning or trying to get your confidence up the board isn’t going to kick your arse and be difficult to manoeuvre.
The Feelbetter has a slightly narrower flat section than some of its more freestyle oriented sisters, which makes it a bit more nimble in and out of turns. It still has Bataleon’s iconic 3BT, which lift up the edges by the contact points in the nose and tail, meaning the board is super easy and mellow to ride. There’s easier turn initiation here, and less chance of catching an edge and face planting.
The extruded base makes for an easy going and manageable ride, so the board won’t pick up speed unintentionally and start to run away with you.
