The Artist Additions series is the finest marriage of Lobster and art since Salvador Dali. It starts with commissioning some paintbrush-wrangling from the snowboard world’s most talented creative types. Then, rather than slap their work on an existing model in the range, it gets put on something unique.
No prizes for guessing who did the honours on this, the Lobster Larsen Artist Addition snowboard. There’s a definite Scandi vibe to Danny’s topsheet design, including a rune-based take on the logo that we’re really into.
“Twin carbon rods run just past each set of inserts to stiffen up the middle of the board longitudinally”

But what about the board? Well, with a directional twin shape, camber profile and triax fibreglass, it offers up a responsive and precise ride that’s ideal for charging around the whole mountain. As for the carbon additives, it’s essentially the opposite of the Lobster Sender – there’s nothing in the nose or tail, but twin rods run just past each set of inserts to stiffen up the middle of the board longitudinally.
Being a Lobster, it’s naturally got Triple Base Technology too. With the narrowest centrebase of any in the brand’s range, the Lobster Danny Larsen has the edge in powder, but can still offer up stability when you want to press on a feature, or the piste.
Every Lobster board is good for freestyle, but for the roving rider that wants to spend time far beyond the park, the Lobster Danny Larsen may be the top choice.
