The Head Horizon goggles are in the middle of the brand’s range, somewhere between the bargain that is the Head Infinity and the newer, toric-shaped Head Globe. Like all Head goggles, these are not exactly brimming with tech – but what they do have works very well.
The Head Horizon goggles have a cylindrical lens that sits quite close to the face and offers good peripheral vision on either side. These actually have their origins in the brand’s ski race team – but for the love of God, don’t let that put you off.

If these pass muster for those who fly downhill at over 80mph whilst constantly having to look out for the next turn, roller or gate, then you can be sure they’ll meet the needs of the average snowboarder too…
The fleece-lined foam keeps your skin happy even on the warmer, sweatier days, and the anti-fog treatment on the lens keeps everything clear. They’re also nice and lightweight, with a minimalist frameless look.
You can buy a pre-packaged lens hit for the Head Horizon goggles, covering everything from a clear option for night riding up to a bluebird-friendly brown tint. There are also techier lenses with a mirrored finish or improved contrast, so there’s a pair of Head Horizon snowboard goggles to suit every budget.
