A new pair for 2018/19, the Head Globe goggles sit somewhere between the Head Infinity and Head Horizon in terms of price. Not that anything in the range will break the bank; in terms of bang for buck, these guys are the undisputed kings of the goggle world.
The Head Globe goggles have a toric lens which, in the simplest possible terms, is a blend of cylindrical and spherical curves. If you’ve never liked the ‘50s sci-fi robot look of the former or the goldfish-bowl feel of the latter, then perhaps the Head Globe offers the alternative you’ve been looking for.

While it’s not hard to find techier models out there, the anti-fog and UV-blocking properties of these aren’t lagging too far behind. Likewise the face foam, which has a microfleece lining for extra comfort.
The lens changing is a good ol’ click-and-pull system, which can be fidgety but saves on cost and materials. While some goggles with the frameless look require you to pull the lens off the frame, with these you pull the top and bottom sections apart. Long story short, once the new lens is in it’ll feel more secure than the alternative, without losing that look.
As with most Head goggles, for a little extra cash you can get the FMR version, with an extra mirror treatment on the lens, or one with contrast-enhancing TVT. For the budget-conscious, though, there’s plenty to admire about the standard Head Globe goggles.
