For the truly titchy groms, it’s all about reducing the hassle. Toddlers are notoriously impatient, and the more time they spend fiddling with binding straps, the less likely it is that they’ll catch the snowboard bug. The Head P Kid snowboard binding keeps your offspring on the move by dispensing with the toe strap altogether.

In a perfect world, a two-strap system would be better, but by extending the ankle strap to cover more of the boot’s surface area, Head have reduced the offset in board control. With practice your kid will figure out their edges all the same – possibly even quicker thanks to the simpler system.
That strap is also adjustable; when a bigger pair of boots is called for, the Head P Kid will offer just as good a fit (up to a point, anyway). The highback has been pared out as much as possible to reduce weight, and flicks up easily every time.
Bigger kids will prefer the Head P Jr, but for the littlest groms this is the better option.
