They say: The King of Pop lives on.
We say: This board has more pop than most on the mountain, thanks to it’s pop-rods, with even its urethane-infused hemp topsheet helping add springiness. Too stiff to be a rail or buttering board, but great for aggressive, big freestyle riding.
Tester says: Sweet carver and so, so poppy! You’ll never land on the knuckle again.

About Ride
- Building boards since: 1992
- HQ: Seattle, WA, USA
- History lesson: Now one of the best-known brands in snowboarding, Ride was founded in 1992. Tim Pogue, a former Burton employee, joined forces with Jamie Salter – of the now sadly defunct Kemper snowboards – and a third friend Roger Madison to work on a new project. Their vision struck a chord with riders both in the states and in Europe who were looking an alternative to the super-sized ski brands that dominated the market. Ride’s spectacular early success drove the company’s founders to take it public in 1994. Since then it has grown steadily.
- Ridden by: Shredders who want to be alternative without going all the way. Riding Ride makes you look less like your dad kids!
