It takes a lot for us to get excited about a park edit these days, but when the guys from Rusty Toothbrush ping something into our inbox time stops, tea is made, phones are put on silent and the WL office gather together to take in the spectacle.
It’s accompanied by their trade mark Euro house-jazz and a cacophony of howls and laughs as they attempt to spray pretty much all the snow away from Deux Alpes.
We’ve said it so many times that we’re almost blue in the face: you can film the biggest kicker, the most epic powder or the gnarliest street rail, but what works best every time – from the days of Robot Food, through Think Thank‘s catalogue and into this year’s Nitro release – is when the fun of riding with your friends is captured perfectly on video.
Deux Alpes obviously get this, which is why they’ve commissioned Alex Stewart and his buddies to go out and get rad for the whole winter this year, tearing up the parks and piste of their home mountain along with the odd bit of pow. It’s all accompanied by their trade mark Euro house-jazz and a cacophony of howls and laughs as they attempt to spray pretty much all the snow away from Deux Alpes.
In short, it’s joyful chaos. Watch it.
