We’re stoked that Salomon’s added this fierce piece of kit to their female range. Without doubt, we’ll be seeing quite a few hard charging heroines cruising down the hill on this stick next season, and it will definitely be a beautiful view.

This new addition to Salomon’s female line is the missing piece we’ve been longing for – a directional board made to charge piste and paint lines in the pow. The setback camber makes sure you can kick your nose up while cruising through the deepest of snow, whilst the flat nose offers slightly more stability. Add the light aspen core and the stiffish profile into the mixer, and you’ve got yourself a real ripper wherever you choose to take it.

“Even if the home of the Bellevue is in deep powder, this beauty isn’t afraid to leave its nest”

Even if the home of the Bellevue is in deep powder, this beauty isn’t afraid to leave its nest. The sintered base makes sure you can charge down the groomers too, whilst the quadratic side cuts allow you to hold an edge really nicely. This thing also turns on a dime, so don’t be afraid to get low.

With a women’s specific shape, the Salomon Bellevue is inspired by the equivalent version on the Men’s range – the Salomon Super 8. And, just like its brother, it’s no one-trick pony.

Tester’s Verdict

Stella PenttiWhitelines

“Salomon’s really stepped up their game with their new Bellevue board. I could honestly have been riding this thing all day. It worked as good in powder as it did for carves. The edge hold is really on point with this one.

“It’s fast and fun, and you could tell it isn’t designed purely for powder”

The board felt stable wherever I took it so if my word means anything, its safe to say that the Bellevue is a great all mountain board. It’s fast and fun, and you could tell it isn’t designed purely for powder. It worked really well on the slopes too, and the shape didn’t prevent me from playing around and getting silly on it.

The Salomon Bellevue is a bit stiffer than what I am used to but the board works well in any conditions. Maybe not ideal for beginners, this is a really great and versatile all mountain board.”
