The new Lib Tech Box Knife is the one he chooses when looking to ride a little more aggressively, but not overly so. It’s got camber rather than rocker, but otherwise sports roughly the same freestyle-forward shape, and a very similar build.
A combination of triax and biax fibreglass layers allow this board to walk the fine line between responsive and mellow, and perfectly compliment the mid-level flex. It’s a little more in tune with faster, more confident riding than it’s fellow Box, with solid contact points enhanced by wavy Magne-Traction edges. When you want to open the Lib Tech Box Knife up, the sintered base will see you through.
Ideally you want to test the limits of the Lib Tech Box Knife in the backcountry, but our testers considered it a great option for all-round, winter-long shredding too. It’s a fine addition to the Lib stable, and one well worth looking for the 2017/18 season.
