UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2019/2020 K2 Manifest here
K2 has undergone a bit of a revamp this year, with lots of new models joining the line. As well as the K2 Afterblack and the K2 Overboard, the K2 Manifest snowboard is here to offer another all-terrain option.
The K2 Manifest is definitely well suited to the powder, with a little bit more rocker in the nose than in the tail to aid flotation. Specifically, this would be ideal for backcountry freestyle; the shape is still pretty close to twin, and there’s plenty of camber for pop.
“Even when there’s no powder around, this is playful enough to have fun with on side-hits”

It’s one of those boards that can charge down a groomed run-in, blast off a lip, then put down the landing gear confortably in either direction. For the first part of that process, you’re aided by carbon-enhanced triax fibreglass that keeps you stable even when you’re hooning it. There’s also a sintered base for extra speed.
On top of that, there’s a cross of carbon stringers under each foot. These direct more energy to the contact points as you ride, without making the K2 Manifest too stiff from end to end. After all, this isn’t just built for charging; even when there’s no powder around, this is playful enough to have fun with on side-hits, or even park jumps
