Who Is The K2 Geometric For?

The K2 Geometric board was built for you, if you’re into the freestyle side of snowboarding. It doesn’t matter what level you are, with the Geometric you can enjoy mastering your first ever ollie to throwing down some serious tricks on the kickers. The beauty of this board is that it has a forgiving flex, making it ideal for anyone who wants to try new skills and push themselves in the world of freestyle.

Shape, Profile and Sidecut

As a geometric board it’s only fitting that the shape is a true twin, completely symmetrical between the nose and tail and each edge. The twin shaped tips provide double the fun as the board performs and responds the same way when traveling regular and switch. This board won’t hold you back, giving you the freedom to get creative on the mountain.

Twin camber profile is symmetrical throughout the length of the board, with classic camber throughout the main body of the board to increase pop and power for a lively feeling underfoot. Camber increases the contact length with the snow to improve your edge hold and stability at high speeds. A small amount of rocker sits at the nose and a tail to provide extra lift in powder but more importantly helps you to initiate turns making the Geometric more manoeuvrable.

Construction and Materials

The Geometric board uses a simple construction made with an Aspen core, biaxial glass and an extruded base. It’s simple yet highly effective, providing everything you need in a freestyle board.

Aspen wood core throughout gives the board consistent flex, snap and response for a predictable feeling underfoot. Aspen is lightweight yet highly durable, reinforced with Biax fiberglass. This layer strengthens the core whilst allowing torsional twist for a more forgiving experience.

Finished off with an extruded base the Geometric board retains wax well to keep you gliding over the snow. The extruded base construction is low maintenance, easy to repair if you collect any dings as souvenirs.

“This board would make a great first snowboard, suitable for beginners but it will take a long time to outgrow”
