Sometimes we all need a little helping hand, a gentle nudge in the right direction as you’re learning new skills, the K2 Dreamsicle is the mellow partner in crime you’ve been waiting for. An easy going all-mountain snowboard to make every day on the hill positively dreamy.

The K2 Dreamsicle is a board that’s gonna hold your hand and give you the little push you need as you take the plunge into the backcountry and beyond. Great for a novice rider, or for a more experienced person who wants a playful snowboard that won’t break the bank.

“Rather than picking up a super aggressive freeride weapon that’s gonna take you for a ride, the Dreamsicle is an option that’ll open the doors to the sidecountry without kicking your arse”

Once you’ve honed your skills on the piste, you’ll probably start gazing enviously at people dipping off the sides of the slopes and making their way to dreamy powder fields and open bowls. Rather than picking up a super aggressive freeride weapon that’s gonna take you for a ride, the Dreamsicle is an option that’ll open the doors to the sidecountry without kicking your arse.

K2 have pulled out all the stops to create a board that’ll ease you into it as you transition into riding deeper snow. While the board itself sits on a twin chassis, it has a ¾ inch setback, pushing your weight towards the tail and thus lifting the nose out of the snow without you having to lean back and kill your legs. Your thighs will thank you.

“A flat base offers a predictable and mellow feel and offers a bit more stability when you’re straight lining groomers”

The long, scooped rocker in the nose helps it stay afloat in the deeper snow, with a shorter rocker in the tail for a nice catch free ride. Not just a board for pow days, the Dreamsicle rides piste like a … dream (sorry). A flat base offers a predictable and mellow feel and offers a bit more stability when you’re straight lining groomers.

The Dreamsicle isn’t stuffed full of carbon and kevlar additives, but it really doesn’t need to be. This is back to basics at its best, and while you might not be the fastest person on the hill, you’ll have saved yourself a good chunk of cash you didn’t need to spend.

The women’s specific core is the kind of finishing touch you can come to expect from K2, with lighter and softer wood to accommodate for smaller frames. The Dreamsicle is a board that will grow with you and allow you to dip a toe into the endless pool of freeriding rather than dumping you headfirst into the deep end.
