The DC Telegraph is a high-end freestyle women’s snowboard, which should fit the bill for any serious park slayer.
“The sintered base is nice and quick too, so as long as you’ve waxed it’ll give you enough oomph to clear the biggest of tabletops”
It’s got an even, traditional camber profile and twin shape, making it perfect for the booters. The sintered base is nice and quick too, so as long as you’ve waxed it’ll give you enough oomph to clear the biggest of tabletops.
The mostly-poplar core has a couple of beech strips running through it, toughening the DC Telegraph up and giving it a little more longitudinal stiffness. A skate-inspired topsheet increases the pop, which is designed to hold up significantly over the lifespan of the board.
Flat sections of base at the contact points make for smooth turn initiation, and they help a little with powder float (although you’ll still have to do most of the work yourself – the park is where this one really belongs, after all).
The DC Ply is better suited to those who are still progressing, but if you’re already turning heads in the park then it’s got to be the DC Telegraph.
