UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2019-2020 Bataleon Feelbetter here
The Bataleon Feelbetter women’s snowboard is a soft-flexing, simple-spec’d option that would suit the beginner. With an easy-to-maintain extruded base and Triple Base Technology (more on which later), every inch of it is newbie-friendly.
While 3BT, as it’s known, isn’t solely for those at the start of their shred journey, it’s well-suited to them. By lifting the side sections of the board near the contact points of the camber bend, but keeping things flat and stable between the feet, the Bataleon Feelbetter delivers the perfect combination of stability when you want it, and a bit more margin for error when you’re making those first turns.
“Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s the perfect platform for entering the world of freestyle”

It’s also pretty bendy from end to end, as well as being malleable from side to side, so when you’re figuring out how twisting the board through the waist can help your riding, it’ll oblige without too much effort.
Then once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s the perfect platform for entering the world of freestyle. Thanks to the flex and the 3BT, you won’t find a better board for learning presses and butters, and the subtle camber bend provides more pop than a flat base, which most entry-level boards tend to have.
The Bataleon Feelbetter may struggle to meet the demands of a hard-charging, experienced rider, but for everyone else it’s a fine option.
