The Details:
While the women’s snowboard market is still much smaller than the men’s, it’s never been easier for a particular kind of female rider to find the right board for their style. In the case of the Arbor Swoon, we have something that caters nicely for those who appreciate freestyle both in and out of the resort.
The Swoon comes in both camber and rocker versions, so you can go with whichever you prefer. While rocker does tend to offer a looser, more forgiving ride, both versions are for putting through their paces rather than pootling down the easy runs.
The rocker version will be at its best if you can get it into the powder, where the upward bend will help you keep the nose up. Buttering across a pow field will be relatively easy too, especially when you factor in the large surface area at the nose and tail, so you can really afford to push the boat out in the backcountry.
On the piste, additional contact points at the inserts will ensure you get enough sidecut grip to compensate for the lack of camber, and the sintered base is as quick as they come.
Whatever the conditions, this is a board designed for stepping things up – and with a three-year warranty, you’ll have complete peace of mind.
