SALOMON VILLAIN – SNOWBOARD BUYERS’ GUIDE REVIEW

A new board from Salomon for 2012-13, the Villain features what they call ‘Rock Out Camber’ – basically camber between the bindings with rocker at the tip and tail. This means it ollies like a camber board, but it’s easier to crank out nose and tail presses. Which is good because, with its soft-ish flex and true twin shape, this is a freestyle-focussed board. Quebeçois rail wizard Louif Paradis rides one of these. Nuff said.

The Villain shreds what it wants, when it wants. Combining EQ Rad, Rock Out Camber and Popster Booster to make this board super maneuverable and stable for when you’re thrashing rails or hauling through the trees…don’t worry the Villain can handle it.
