Who is The Volcom Romy Snow Suit For?

Built to perform with style and functionality, the Romy Snow Suit is designed with comfort in mind. A suit is your best bet to keep any snow from getting in, while Volcom’s drop seat zipper will make it all that more convenient for your bathroom breaks too. If you want to pull on something different, this is it.

Materials and Construction

Volcom began their journey on becoming more sustainable back in 2012 when they started designing their t-shirts using REPREVE fibres. Nearly a decade later, Volcom’s come a long way, with REPREVE being part of their snow outerwear too, including the Romy Snow Suit.

REPREVE creates recycled fibres made from recycled materials, including used plastic bottles. These fibres are then turned into making clothing, and thanks to this Volcom has helped recycle more than 10 million plastic bottles during the last decade by giving them a second life in their clothing.

The Romy Snow Suit is designed with a stretchy shell that increases the ability to move whilst also keeping you dry from both inside and outside, with fully taped seams making the suit even more water-resistant. However, as it is a shell, you’ll want to layer up to keep warm when temperatures drop below zero.

Fit and Features

With a loose, straight, fit, the Romy Snowsuit is designed with an overall loose fit through the waist, hips, and legs, with minimal contouring for a “borrowed-from-the-boys-look”.

Featuring Volcom’ Drop Seat feature to help speed things up when nature calls, the rear seat zipper makes things a lot easier and quicker without the added fear of dropping the bib straps or sleeves on a dirty bathroom floor.

On top of that, the suit also comes with plenty of pockets including one for the lift pass while also equipped with loops around the waist if you want to make the suit sit a bit tighter around the hips.
