Who Are The Protest Liquim Jacket and Naturez Pant For?

Perfect for resort riders who aren’t afraid to venture outside the piste for occasional powder laps. As part of Protest’s Green Up mission, their journey towards a more sustainabile future, both the Liquim Jacket and the Naturez Pant have also got a few eco-friendly treats up their sleeve making them a sustainable choice too.

Materials and Construction

Partly made from recycled polyester, Protest has used discarded PET bottles in the fabric for both the jacket and the pants. By choosing to use recycled polyester over virgin polyester, Protest is helping to steer away plastic from further filling up landfills and polluting the oceans.

With a 20K waterproofing and breathability rating, the outerwear does a great job at keeping water at bay whilst simultaneously making sure that sweat is able ti evaporate into the thin air leaving you dry from both inside and outside.

Adding to the fabrics waterproofing, is the PFC Free DWR coating. By 2022, Protest is looking to replace all PFC’s in their collection with eco-friendly alternatives (PFC’s are virtually non-degradable in nature).

Freshly added for this season, the Liquim jacket has been given a spacer mesh placed at the back on the inside of the jacket. This thin 3-layer fabric has exceptional insulating properties to keep you warm whilst also helping to cut down the need for bulky insulation.

Fit and Features

The jacket has been shaped with a slimmer fit, making it cut for speed without bulky fabrics. The pants, on the other hand, are desgined in a regular fit: ergonomically pre-shaped and sized to allow for layering and ensuring a good range of motion while being roomy but not excessively baggy.

With a built-in mask in the jacket, you’ll be able to keep your face protected from the elements. The jacket also features a high collar, a lift pass holder, a goggle cleaner, vent zippers and a fixed, helmet-compatible, hood.

As for the pants, they sit nicely on the hips thanks to being ergonomically pre-shaped, while having plenty of pockets to store your belongings in.
