Combined with the beefy triple-layered Gore-Tex fabric, fully taped seams and boot gaiters, these give the white stuff zero chance of breaking in and ruining your day. Of course, when you want a bit of refreshment, or are heading for a big hike, you can always open the vents.
The DaKine Stoker bib pants have been designed with a tailored fit, so there’s a bit of tapering in the leg. It’s pretty subtle though, and the shoulder straps – as well as optional belt loops – mean that you can get away with a lower, looser fit.
