The retro-styled Airblaster Trenchover snowboard jacket is as jazzy as it gets. With a wide range of styles to choose from, Airblaster’s Trenchover 2L shell is a favourite for season 20/21, with loads of extra features to get us buzzing.

What you sometimes find with trenchovers, is that they can be hard to get in and out of. They can also leave you feeling slightly claustrophobic in the process. Airblaster has, however, saved us from these unpleasantries by designing a jacket with a deep neck zip and a full side entry zip to make it easier to get in and out of the jacket.

“The ‘blaster fit’, as Airblaster calls it, allows for enough room to tweak while adding a bit of extra length at the rear drop tail”

The ‘blaster fit’, as Airblaster calls it, allows for enough room to tweak while adding a bit of extra length at the rear drop tail. This allows for plenty of space to layer up when the temperatures drop without leaving you feeling cramped. The stretch canvas at both chest and back body also allows for more movement, making the whole experience slightly more comfortable.

Offered with a 15K waterproofing, you can be sure to stay dry even when the snowfall is a bit more on the slushy side. The fully taped seams also add to the jacket’s waterproofness, meaning no water can enter as the prick holes left by the sewing needles have been fully covered.

The Trenchover jacket has also got four zippered pockets to keep your valuables safe, while the kangaroo pocket at the chest is perfect for stashing your gloves or a can of beer. You can also easily adjust the hood to fit the size of your helmet, while the zipped underarm vents come in handy when things start to get a bit too warm.

On top of all that, Airblaster’s also made sure to use an FC-Free Eco DWR coating on the Trenchover jacket; earning them points in the sustainability game. Nice one!

The model in the photo is 6’3” (190cm) tall and wearing size L.
