Who Is The K2 Orton For?

The Orton boot has been designed for guys who want to treat the whole resort like a park. The shell and lining have a medium flex to suit all mountain boarding, this flex level gives the boots a balance between response and forgiveness ideal for all abilities.

Shell & Outsole

Medium flex shell is supportive yet provides natural flex thanks to the articulated upper cuff. This shell allows the upper and lower half of the boots to move independently, preventing boot distortion and eliminating heel lift. The shell has been reinforced with rubber to increase the durability and lifespan.

Quick and easy to adjust shell features BOA lace system, not just one but two. The H4 dial adjusts the upper boot whilst the M3 dial adjust the lower boot. The best thing about BOA is that you can use them with your glove or mittens on. BOA laces are strong, usually made with steel however K2 have used a softer rope lace which is just as strong but provides a better fit over the shell.

The shell is finished off with a Vibram rubber sole, it’s an industry leader known for its high levels of grip and durability. It’s been enhanced with Harshmellow foam to smooth out vibrations and increase your comfort.

“Easy to mould around your foot for a customised fit, Intuition Foam creates the perfected fit”

Liner

Hidden from the eye the liner is the most important part of the boot for comfort and fit. Hugging your foot, the 3-point hardness adjusts with a pull lace. The liner closes around your foot at three contact points providing support and securing the fit.
Easy to mould around your foot for a customised fit, Intuition Foam creates the perfected fit. Hugging the contour of your foot to add comfort. Nothing is worse than getting cold toes on the mountain, it really can ruin the whole day. To avoid this problem, the K2 Orton boot features heat reflective SpaceHeater. Designed to redirecting heat back towards your feet trapping warmth and increasing your comfort.

Underfoot sits a layer of 3D Formed Dual Density EVA, working in combination with the lining it fits the contours of your foot whilst adding support to keep you comfortable all day long.
