The Ride LTD snowboard bindings know how to tweak without being too flexy or too firm on the feet. They’re a bulletproof option for any rider looking for a sturdy pair of bindings to hit everything with, whether that’s in the park or on the piste.

The Ride LTD’s have been fitted with both an infinity chassis and slimeback highbacks, making them one of the more tech friendly options in the Ride family. While the aluminium chassis ensures these bindings can take whatever is thrown their way, the slimeback highbacks absorb shock and chatter. They’re also fitted with a super user friendly FLAD, so you can crank your forward lean up if that floats your fancy. Add the urethane basepad into the mixer and you’re in for a very smooth ride (one on which you can worry less about facing uneven terrain).

“And that, ladies and gents, is what we call comfort”

New for last season was the Two-Piece ankle strap, a feature that had us stoked on just how supportive these bindings were. The ankle strap adjusts to the shape of your boot, providing both impeccable support and comfort, and you’ll start to relish the chance to strap in. In fact, you might not even notice you’re strapped in at all. And that, ladies and gents, is what we call comfort.

If you’re one to charge through whatever comes your way, no questions asked, you might want to give the Ride LTDs a go. These are a fine pair of bindings, as strong as an ox, and comfy enough that you’ll enjoy all your time on the hill.

Tester’s Verdict

Mike BrindleyWhitelines

“The Ride LTD paired up with the Warpig a treat in this year’s testing. Their added response versus a binding like the Rodeo was great for a wider board, giving a greater sense of overall control.

“The straps flexed to fit nicely without any pressure points”

Though features like the tool-free adjustment might feel a little stiff out of the box, the LTD gives the impression of being tough enough to last the hardships of a challenging winter – and from the first lap the straps flexed to fit nicely without any pressure points.”

Tester’s Verdict 2018/19

“These bindings were stiff, and the first turns I made were, well, not the most comfortable on my calves. Also, the highback was pretty substantial, which added stiffness to the turns. It took me a while to get used to these, but once I did they were actually really good.

Personally I wouldn’t buy bindings this stiff considering that I don’t like to put that much effort into my turns, but I still found them to be really good. And I mean, they did give me a lot of speed, which was definitely a big plus for a girl who likes to go fast but doesn’t have the body weight to make for a fast ride without the right equipment.”
