Calling a pair of your bindings ‘the Solution’ is quite a claim – but not one that Bent Metal hasn’t earned. Granted, they aren’t the answer for everyone, but if you’ve been looking for an absolute powerhouse that harnesses space-age tech, then the Bent Metal Solution is definitely a model to think about.

Fans of carbon will love these; there’s tons of it here (in a manner of speaking, of course; carbon is notoriously lightweight). The highback is pretty darn rigid as a result, so it’ll respond as soon as you engage your heel edge.

Underneath your foot is one of Bent Metal’s custom ‘Drive Plates’. This removable footbed is packed with tech, layered up in a similar way to a snowboard. There’s a wood core sandwiched between two layers of carbon, which in turn sit between a topsheet and base material. The whole thing is held in a nylon frame, finished off with an EVA foam footbed.

The result is a firm, responsive platform that doesn’t leave your toe-bones rattling, making the Bent Metal Solution bindings perfect for the gnar.
