Amplid Pally’Hi Merino 2021-2022 Snowboard Base Layer Review

Inspired by the desire to create performance-oriented outdoor apparel from the finest merino wool, with a contemporary streetwear aesthetic, Peter Bauer, founder of Amplid Snowboards, decided to launch Pally’Hi. The line includes soft, comfortable, quality base layers and mid layers.

Who Are The Amplid Pally’Hi Merino For?

Made for the men and women who don’t compromise on comfort or performance. A combination of classic silhouettes, top-notch materials and quality tailoring is the core of Pally’Hi, thus making their apparel stylish enough to be worn in the pub after a day riding fresh lines.

Materials and Construction

In the image, we’ve shot the male model wearing the Pally’Hi Longsleeve Classic Peak Logo top with the Long John Shears Icon. The female model is wearing the Women’s ¾ Sleeve Run to Ride top with the ¾ Joanne Run to Ride leggings.

Both the male and female leggings are made with 100% merino wool, making the them extremely breathable, soft and odour resistant. Merino wool will also keep you warm, but as the material is so breathable, it adapts to your body temperature allowing you not to overheat when your body temperature starts to rise.

As for the tops, they feature 60% merino wool and 40% viscose (bamboo).

When it comes to features, base layers do not require much. Pally’Hi has concentrated on providing fabrics and fits that meet the needs of dynamic and stylish outdoor enthusiasts thus featuring prints and brand logos on their products to help them stand out in the crowd.
