DC Biddy 2015-2016 Women’s Snowboard Review

Hundreds & thousands of reasons to own

The Details:

There may be a plethora of women’s freeride boards on the market these days, but sometimes all that’s needed is a flexible, forgiving vehicle for having fun all over the mountain – and the DC Biddy definitely fits into that category.

Would you want to gun this down groomers? Not really; it’s got the softest core that DC make, a rocker profile and a slightly beveled edge. Stay away from the XL kicker line, too.

However, all those attributes make this ideal for intermediate freestyle; let it loose in the park, on the piste or off side hits, and it’ll deliver tons of fun. The profile actually flattens out at each extremity, which you won’t notice in regular conditions but will add to the rocker’s powder performance should you take it off piste.

It’s also one of the most affordable boards on the market, so is a good choice for an entry-level rider who’s fairly confident that, once the basics have been mastered, freestyle awaits. Even if you’ve already got a more freeride-focused stick, this could be your slushy-day alternative.

TESTER’S VERDICT:
Hannah Baileyneonstash.com

“This might not be as edible as it looks, but it’s a good snowboard nonetheless. Short and sweet, the biggest you can get a Biddy in is a 151, so it’s definitely more for the park than the natural playground.

It was almost a little too playful for me with its reverse camber and soft core, but won points back for keeping its strength on the hard-pack.

There are hundreds and thousands of reasons to get this board, and the graphic is just one of them.”
